The 2020 Material Service Behavior Forum is held in Xi 'an

On November 1, "2020 New Materials International Development Trend High-level Forum - Material Service Behavior Forum" was held in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province.Serving the material behavior BBS academic alliance by material, materials research society of China and national new material industry development strategy advisory committee, by the Chinese Academy of Sciences institute of metal, xi 'an jiaotong university, ningbo material technology and engineering research institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, xian university of science and technology, and to undertake "material progress in China" magazine.

The forum was chaired by Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering ke Wei, Xue Qunji, Zhou Ksong and Tu Shandong. Prof. Han Enhou, Prof. Wang Liping, Prof. Li Chang, Prof. Zhang Conghui, Prof. Du Huiling and Prof. Yang Guanquan were secretary-general of the Forum.Fifteen experts of material service behavior from domestic universities, research institutes and enterprises made wonderful invitation reports for the forum, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges with experts and scholars on the development status, problems and trends in the field of material service behavior.More than 100 material service behavior researchers participated in the forum.The participating experts and scholars on the fatigue and fracture of advanced materials, corrosion of deep space and the deep sea, high-end bearing materials, the preparation and the friction and wear, corrosion of pipeline steel, the structure of the nucleus with the material preparation and service of security, Gao Tieyong aluminium corrosion and stress corrosion and fatigue, fatigue damage of mining equipment, heavy vehicles and advanced manufacturing technology, material damage control technology conducted in-depth discussions.

The opening ceremony of the forum was presided over by Researcher Han Enhou.He conveyed the congratulations and good wishes of the four academicians on the opening of the forum, introduced the starting point of organizing the forum, reviewed the exchanges of the previous two forums, and emphasized the importance and necessity of studying service performance under the interaction of materials, mechanics and environment.He hopes the conference will promote basic research and help the industry solve technical problems.

This forum has established four topics: "Basic theory of Service Behavior and base-based damage control technology", "Advanced coating Technology", "Material service behavior and control in major engineering" and "Service Behavior and control in harsh environment".Han Enhou and Zhang Zhefeng of THE Institute of Metals presented reports entitled "Corrosion and Control Technology of Magnesium Alloy" and "Exploration of fracture Mechanism and Strength Theory of Metallic glass" respectively.

Conference Secretary-General Han Enhou researcher pointed out in the final conclusion: although the material service behavior research work is not as obvious as the new material research and development, but for the engineering field, especially the security of equipment service has important significance.With the development of modern industry, the demand for the service behavior of materials is more and more vigorous. On the one hand, researchers should conduct in-depth research on the damage mechanism and damage dynamics to serve the life prediction and evaluation of engineering equipment well.On the other hand, new materials and damage control technologies need to be continuously developed to ensure the safety of equipment in service.This field has a broad prospect in the future. We hope that we can work together to strengthen cooperation, actively contribute to the national "14th five-year Plan", promote the development of industries and fields, and make contributions to the national economic construction.
