Silicon prices soared

The price of silicon material soared to 210,000 yuan/ton, and the cost pressure caused the demand for components to shrink

On June 2nd, the Silicon Industry Branch released the latest silicon material price. The price range of domestic single crystal recharging was 206,000 to 221,000 yuan/ton, and the average transaction price was 21,900 yuan/ton, with a month-on-week increase of 4.54%.The price range of single crystal compact material was 204,000 to 219,000 yuan/ton, and the average transaction price was 208,900 yuan/ton, with a month-on-week increase of 4.97%.

Since 2021, the price of polysilicon has been on a straight line.According to statistics, since the beginning of the year single crystal refeed increase reached 141.89%, single crystal density increase reached 145.769%, single crystal cauliflower increase reached 150.24%.And, silicon material price long sheet, loose sheet price still continues to rise momentum.It is reported that in June, there are three ten thousand tons of silicon material enterprises were forced to plan overhaul, is expected to be further reduced in June domestic polysilicon production, a decline of about 3%.

It is worth noting that silicon prices are rising pressure is continuing downward conduction.In May, two leading wafer companies announced price increases twice in a month.As of the end of May, Longji M10 silicon wafer latest offer of 5.87 yuan, M6 silicon wafer price of 4.89 yuan, G1 silicon wafer price of 4.39 yuan, compared with the April 23 offer increase of 20.78%, 22.25%, 22.82% respectively.The latest price of G12(170μm) wafers at Central was 8.22 yuan, M6(170μm) wafers at 5.13 yuan and G1(170μm) wafers at 5.03 yuan, up 25.5%, 24.6% and 27.99% respectively from the reported price on April 28.

At present, the mid-stream price channel is being opened.According to the latest price tracking shows that the price of the battery is rising slightly, the mainstream price of the polycrystalline battery is 0.79 yuan/watt ~0.89 yuan/watt, the mainstream price of the single crystal G1 battery is 1.06 yuan/watt ~1.15 yuan/watt, and the mainstream price of the single crystal M6 battery is 1.03-1.1 yuan/watt.The mainstream price of single crystal M10 and G12 batteries ranges from 1.03 yuan/watt to 1.1 yuan/watt.In terms of orders, there are signs of a slowdown in component procurement, with fewer new orders placed in June. Battery manufacturers are gradually feeling pressure from the downstream. If the price is further increased, the downstream demand may further shrink.However, if the original price is maintained, the upstream cost increases so that some enterprises can not afford, some manufacturers said the dilemma.
