Neodymium Oxide, CAS is 1313-97-9. Nd₂O₃ is a metal oxide. It is insoluble in water and soluble in acid.

1. Glass, ceramic colorants.
2. Raw materials for the manufacture of neodymium metal and raw materials for ndfeb, adding 1.5% ~ 2.5% nano neodymium oxide in magnesium alloy or aluminum alloy can improve the alloy's high temperature performance, air tightness and corrosion resistance, widely used as aerospace materials.
3. Nano-yttrium oxide aluminum garnet doped with nano-neodymium oxide produces short-wave laser beam, which is widely used in industry for welding and cutting of thin materials with thickness below 10mm.
4. Nano neodymium oxide is also used in glass and ceramic material coloring as well as rubber products and additives.
