Introduction and application of black silicon carbide

Black silicon carbide is quartz sand, petroleum coke and high quality silica as the main raw material, through high temperature smelting resistance furnace.  Its hardness between corundum and diamond, mechanical strength is higher than corundum, brittle and sharp.

Black silicon carbide applications  

1. Abrasives are mainly used for grinding wheel, sandpaper, whetstone, grinding head, grinding paste and photovoltaic products in monocrystalline silicon, polycrystalline silicon and the surface grinding and polishing of various devices.  

2. Functional ceramics can not only reduce the capacity of kiln tools, but also improve the quality of kiln products, shorten the cycle, ceramic glaze baking sintering ideal indirect material production, high temperature non-oxide ceramics, reaction sintering ceramics.

3.  Non-ferrous metal iron and steel industry, metallurgy and mineral processing industry, have been applied.  

4. Advanced refractory materials can be used as metallurgy deoxidizer and high temperature resistant materials, production of high temperature furnace components, support parts, etc.
