Characteristic
A ternary alloy of silver, copper, and tin. The solubility of tin in silver is 12.5%. There are AgCuSn27-5, AgCuSn85-8, AgCuSn30-l0 and AgCuSn23-17. The density respectively were 9.8g/cm3, 9.15g/cm3, 9.92g/cm3 and 9.4g/cm3. The melting temperatures respectively were 730 ~ 755℃, 946 ~ 985℃, 590 ~ 718℃ and 600℃.
Application
Steam pressure, good wetting, used as electric vacuum solder, brazing copper, nickel, steel, cutting alloy and other similar or heterogeneous metal components and parts. AgCuSn30-l0 is also used for brazing industrial pure titanium and stainless steel parts.
