Characteristic
A ternary alloy of silver, copper, and tin.The solubility of tin in silver is 12.5%.There are agcusn27-5, agcusn85-8, agcusn30-l0 and ag-cusn23-17.The density was 9.8g/cm3, 9.15g/cm3, 9.92g/cm3 and 9.4g/cm3, respectively. The melting temperatures were 730 ~ 755℃, 946 ~ 985℃, 590 ~ 718℃ and 600℃, respectively.
Smelting in a vacuum medium frequency furnace.The alloy plasticity is poor, the processing is easy to crack, the ingot should be hot rolled, the processing rate of cold processing is controlled at about 10%.Low steam, good wetting.
Application
As electric vacuum solder, brazing copper, nickel, steel, cutting alloy and other similar or dissimilar metal components and parts.Agcusn30-l0 is also used for brazing industrial pure titanium and stainless steel parts.
