Nano lanthanum hexaboride powder was prepared by gas phase method with variable current laser ion beam. Nano lanthanum hexaboride powder has small particle size and high purity, and its melting point is 2210℃, higher than which it will decompose. Insoluble in water and acid at room temperature.
