Tin Silver (SnAg (96.5:3.5 wt%))-Shots

Product Description

Characteristic

The binary alloys of silver and tin are AgSnl0, AgSn70, AgSn90, AgSn95 and AgSn96.5.Low vacuum melting of medium frequency furnace is adopted, tin is melted first and silver is added later.Alloys less than 12.5%Sn have good ductility and are easy to process. The plasticity of alloys greater than 12.5%Sn decreases. It is a low temperature filler metal, which is suitable for brazing copper alloy parts with limited temperature and high strength. For brazing steel no. 45, the shear strength of the brazing joint is 69MPa.
