Application
In organic chemistry, sodium tungstate is used as catalyst for epoxidation of alkenes and oxidation of alcohols into aldehydes or ketones. Used in examining the serum protein, serum protein-free filtrate. Used as alkaloid precipitating agent. Used in manufacture of metal tungsten, tungstate and tungsten oxide. Waterproof and fireproof fabric.
