Nickel ferrite (NiFe2O4)-Powder

Product Description

Characteristic

Iron Nickel Oxide is generally immediately available in most volumes. High purity, submicron and nanopowder forms may be considered.

Chemical formula:Fe2NiO4

Molecular Weight:234.38g/mol

Appearance:Dark Brown Powder

Density:5.368 g/cm3

Application

Iron nickel oxide is used as an adsorbent to remove hexavalent chromium ions present in the waste water by co-sedimentation method. It is also employed as an additive in membrane (i.e. polyvinylchloride/styrene-butadiene-rubber blend heterogeneous cation exchange membrane) fabrication, thereby increasing the permeability for bivalent ions compared to the monovalent type.
