China Customs released the import and export data of aluminum products in April:

Bauxite

Bauxite imports in April were 8.74 million tons, down 12.3 percent year on year;From January to April, imports totaled 35.91 million tons, down 6.4% year on year.

Alumina

China imported 235,100 tons of alumina in April, up 7.4% year on year.The export of alumina reached 8,700 tons, down 69.9% year on year;From January to April, the cumulative import of alumina reached 991,200 tons, down 20.55% year on year.From January to April, the cumulative export of alumina was 31,700 tons, down 49.32% year on year.

Aluminium

In April, China imported 155,600 tons of primary aluminum, a year-on-year increase of more than 20 times.From January to April, the total import volume was 488,900 tons, a year-on-year increase of more than 23 times.

Aluminum alloy rolled without forging

In April 2021, China imported 89,000 tons of unwrought rolled aluminum alloy, an increase of 10,800 tons month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 39.26%.From January to April, imports totaled 219,000 tons, up 8.06% year on year.

Aluminium scrap

In April, China imported 112,400 tons of scrap aluminum, up 57.24% year on year.From January to April, accumulative imports reached 333,600 tons, up 23.38% year on year.

In April, China exported 217,100 tons of aluminum sheets and strips, down 3.25% year on year.From January to April, the accumulative export reached 854,000 tons, up 5.52% year on year.

In April, China imported 23,500 tons of aluminum sheets and strips, up 0.44% year on year. From January to April, the accumulative imports were 96,800 tons, up 19% year on year.

The aluminum foil

In April, China exported 11,600 tons of aluminum foil, down 3.29% year on year. From January to April, China exported 45300 tons of aluminum foil, up 6.25% year on year.

In April, China imported 7,878 tons of aluminum foil, up 20.12% year on year, and accumulated imports of 29,700 tons from January to April, up 28.15% year on year.

Aluminium and its products

China exported 755,500 tons of aluminum and its products in April, up 11% year on year;From January to April, the accumulative export reached 2.9482 million tons, up 16.34% year on year.

In April, China imported 290,500 tons of aluminum and its products, up 156.72% year on year.From January to April, accumulative imports reached 975,800 tons, up 124.4% year on year.
