China's rare-earth price index edged lower

China's rare earth price index closed at 1249.22 points Monday, down 9.72 points, or 0.77%, from the previous working day.Terbium oxide prices remain stable, limited market circulation spot, the mainstream manufacturers offer firm, some businesses reluctant to sell, the market wait-and-see mood is stronger.

Among them, the price indexes of erbium oxide, thulium oxide, lutetium oxide, samarium oxide, dymium oxide, scandium oxide and neodymium oxide respectively increased compared with the previous working day.The price indices of holmium oxide, ytterbium oxide, yttrium oxide, Europium oxide, gadolinium oxide, dysprosium oxide, cerium oxide, lanthanum oxide and praseodymium oxide respectively fell compared with the previous working day.The price index for terbium oxide was unchanged from the previous working day.

In terms of rare earth functional materials, the price index of rare earth magnetic materials was at 1198.64, down 0.19 percent from the previous working day.The price index of rare earth hydrogen storage materials was at 1002.70 points, down 2.24% from the previous working day.The price index of rare earth catalytic materials was at 873.92 points, down 1.09 percent from the previous working day.The price index of rare earth luminescent materials was at 847.01 points, down 0.17 percent from the previous working day.
