Tungsten Nickel Iron alloy (WNiFe)-Powder

Product Description

Characteristic

Tungsten-nickel-ferroalloy is a tungsten-based (about 90 ~ 98%) alloy with nickel, iron, copper or other components. The specific gravity is generally 17.0 ~ 18.5.

Tungsten-nickel ferroalloy is characterized by high sintering density, good strength and plasticity, and ferromagnetism.Good plasticity and machinability, good thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent absorption of gamma rays or x-rays.

Application

Tungsten-nickel-iron alloy is widely used and has become the main tungsten base heavy alloy with the largest dosage. For general applications, such as counterweights, counterweights, and radiation shielding devices, sintered alloys are used directly. However, for applications requiring high mechanical properties, tungsten-nickel-ferroalloy alloys require deformation processing and heat treatment to achieve strengthening.
