The mechanical properties of ALSi10Mg, A356, 702A and other alloy products have been improved

Recently, the evaluation results of the technical standards Award of the 2020 National Nonferrous Metal Standardization Technical Committee were announced. Two national standards, Aluminum Plates, Strips, Foil for Drawing Cans and High Purity fine Crystal Aluminum and Aluminum alloy Round Ingots have been awarded the third prize of technical standards.

At present, aluminum cans account for a large proportion in the packaging container. 

Every year, there are 360 billion two-piece deep drawing cans in the world, among which there are about 36.5 billion cans in China, accounting for about 10% of the global total.

 In order to further expand the application of aluminum, promote the adjustment and upgrading of the structure of China's aluminum trade, Southwest Aluminum has participated in the preparation of the national standard, the publication of aluminum alloy sheets, strips, Foil for drawing cans, which will standardize the domestic food packaging can material market.

Aluminum and aluminum alloy round cast ingot, is the aluminum alloy bar, wire, pipe, profile, forging and other aluminum processing products of the "basic materials". The quality of round ingot plays a decisive role in the processing and use performance of aluminum deep processing products, which is its "core" and "bottleneck" and an important link that cannot be solved in the later process. 

The key to the development of the industry is to constantly improve the quality of ingot and optimize and perfect the ingot production process. The high purity fine crystal aluminum alloy will provide important foundation support for the development of lightweight of transportation vehicles such as aerospace, new energy vehicle and high-speed railway. The release of the national standard "High Purity fine crystal aluminum and aluminum alloy round ingot" will expand the application of high quality ingot in the high precision aluminum processing market and promote the development of the aluminum processing industry to higher precision.
