Rhodium(III) oxide pentahydrate (Rh2O3•5H2O)-Powder
Product Description
Characteristic
Rhodium Oxide Pentahydrate is a highly insoluble thermally stable Rhodium source suitable for glass, optic and ceramic applications. Oxide compounds are not conductive to electricity. However, certain perovskite structured oxides are electronically conductive finding application in the cathode of solid oxide fuel cells and oxygen generation systems. They are compounds containing at least one oxygen anion and one metallic cation.

Application
Used as a catalytic convertor in automobiles. It is also employed as an industrial catalyst in the manufacturing of chemical intermediates such as oxo-alcohols, as well as nitric acid and ethanoic (acetic) acid productions. It is, likewise, of interest for new capacitor electrode materials, dynamic random access memories (DRAMs) and non-volatile random access memories (FeRAMs).
