Praseodymium Nitrate is a highly water soluble crystalline Praseodymium source for uses compatible with nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. Nitrate compounds are generally soluble in water. Nitrate materials are also oxidizing agents.

Application

 

Praseodymium(III) nitrate hydrate is used in fluorescent display tubes and phosphors. It is also used in the ultrasonic synthesis of phase-pure praseodymium molybdate. It plays a major role in the solvothermal process for formation of doped lanthanide oxysulfide.
