Characteristic

Aluminum-nickel alloy, also known as redwood alloy, has high catalytic activity. Dry aluminum-nickel alloy can spontaneously ignite in air and should be kept in anhydrous ethanol.It is a catalyst for reduction or hydrogenation and is used in organic synthesis.
