Neodymium(III) nitrate hydrate (Nd(NO3)3•xH2O)-Crystalline

Product Description

Characteristic

Neodymium(III) Nitrate Hexahydrate is a highly water soluble crystalline neodymium source for uses compatible with nitrates and lower (acidic) pH. Nitrate compounds are generally soluble in water. Nitrate materials are also oxidizing agents.

Chemical formula:Nd(NO3)3•xH2O

Molar mass:330.25 g/mol

Appearance:Light blue Wet Crystalline Aggregates

Melting point:40℃

Boiling Point:83ºC at 760 mmHg

Application

It is used as pharmaceutical intermediates. It is used in the selective PVC membrane sensors. The sensor with ionophore (L1) exhibits significantly enhanced selectivity towards neodymium (III).
