Characteristic

Calcium is a kind of chemical elements, the periodic table of the first Ⅱ group, the atomic number is 20.Calcium is a silver-white alkaline earth metal with moderate ductility and luster.Insoluble in benzene, slightly soluble in alcohol, soluble in acid, liquid ammonia.It is an alkaline earth metal, and its physical and chemical properties are similar to those of its heavier relatives, barium (Ba) and strontium (Sr).

Application

It can be used as deoxidizer of alloy and dehydrating agent of oil.
