Boron is a chemical element with the symbol B and atomic number 5. Boron has two allotropes: crystalline boron is a glossy gray crystal that is nearly as hard as diamond but extremely brittle;The other boron is a dark brown powder.

Application

 

Mainly used in the production of borax, boric acid and boron compounds and the element boron, is metallurgy, building materials, machinery, electrical appliances, chemical industry, light wool, nuclear industry, medicine, agriculture and other important raw materials.
