Bismuth Sulfate, also known as Bismuth Sulfate base. White needle - like crystal or powder, acid reaction. To decompose into base salts in water or alcohol. Heating to 465℃ decomposition of sulfur trioxide, soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid or nitric acid, insoluble in water and alcohol.

Application
The esterification of thujopsene with bismuth(III) sulfate in carboxylic acids yeilds esters in 30%. Bismuth(III) sulfateis used as analytics reagents and medicine, it is also used in pharmaceutical industry. It is used to determine other metal sulphate salts.
