Characteristic

Magnesium alloy is composed of magnesium as the base and other elements. Its characteristics are: small density (about 1.8g/cm³ magnesium alloy), high strength, large elastic modulus, good heat dissipation, good shock absorption, bearing impact load capacity than aluminum alloy, organic and alkali corrosion resistance. The main alloyed elements are aluminum, zinc, manganese, cerium, thorium and a small amount of zirconium or cadmium.

Magnesium alloy is widely used in portable equipment and automobile industry to achieve the purpose of lightweight.
